Brock and Associates is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in superior talent assisting C-suite executives and partners.
Dixie Brock opened the firm in 1984 on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta with office furniture loaned to her from a previous employer's renovation, a one-year business plan, and a pledge to herself that if she did not generate enough revenue to pay all expenses for that year within six months, it was her signal to let her dream go. That goal was met within the first thirty days. Her experience with Alston & Bird (one of Atlanta's largest law firms) and Booz Allen (a global management consulting firm) provided a strong foundation to build a brand that encompasses high-tech and high-touch service.

Dixie Brock is the President of Brock and Associates, Inc., a permanent staffing firm that opened in 1984 to provide exceptional administrative talent to the Who's Who of Atlanta, Fortune 500 executives, and partners with professional services firms. Her experience includes Alston & Bird, one of Atlanta's largest law firms, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton, an international management consulting firm.
Dixie served on the Board of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services for ten years. She has chaired the certification program for Georgia and has received national recognition for her dedication and ability to teach her peers. She has instructed more than 500 individuals on the fundamental legal issues of recruiting.
Dixie has been awarded the James H. Pair Award for Excellence for the State of Georgia, voted upon by her peers as a leader in the search industry. She received the Certified Personnel Consultant of the Year award in 1998, a nationally recognized program by the National Association of Personnel Services. She has consistently ranked as one of Atlanta's top recruiters, reaching the Million Dollar Hall of Fame in 1992.
